PRE-RELEASE SOFTWARE

Run the Tab may be distributed through TestFlight before a public release. Beta features, availability, calculations, and data sources may change or stop without notice. Whether beta or released, do not rely on the app for health, medical, legal, safety, impairment, or alcohol-consumption decisions.

CALORIE COMPARISONS

The app compares active energy reported by an eligible workout source with a beer’s calories. Beer calorie values may be manufacturer-published, derived from published data, or clearly marked estimates. A result is arithmetic only. It does not say what you earned, should drink, may safely consume, or have consumed, and it makes no claim that exercise offsets alcohol risk.

ELIGIBILITY

You must be of legal drinking age where you live to use Run the Tab. The app does not verify age and does not sell, deliver, or facilitate the purchase of alcohol. Beta access may be changed or revoked, and Apple may separately limit TestFlight availability.

YOUR DATA AND SHARING

You control Apple Health permission in system Settings or the Health app. Comparisons and available route data are stored locally on your iPhone. If you choose to share a rendered image, it may disclose route and run facts to the destination you select. Exporting or sharing a file is your direction to disclose that copy; review it before sending.

Settings can export or delete Run the Tab’s local user data. Deletion does not delete source workouts in Apple Health or Strava. The public beer catalog remains separate from local history. Direct Strava is absent from the currently uploaded TestFlight build 1.0.0 (4) and enabled as an optional read-only source in prepared Release candidate 1.0.0 (5).

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Apple Health, TestFlight, Strava, Vercel, Neon, breweries, distributors, and other named providers are independent third parties with their own terms and privacy practices. They do not sponsor, control, or warrant Run the Tab unless expressly stated, and Run the Tab does not make warranties on their behalf. To the maximum extent permitted by law, those providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of Run the Tab or a third-party service.

STRAVA

Prepared Release candidate 1.0.0 (5) connects optionally and read-only through the production broker at https://strava.runthetab.xyz; the currently uploaded 1.0.0 (4) build remains Apple Health-only. You authorize access on Strava’s service and remain subject to Strava’s terms and privacy policy. The broker uses an isolated Neon database for bounded, pseudonymized authorization and durable webhook state, and its deployed revoke path has been verified. Run the Tab may limit, suspend, or remove the connection when required by Strava, law, security, or service availability. Live Strava-derived results cannot be shared from Run the Tab.

NAMES AND ARTWORK

Beer, brewery, Apple, HealthKit, Strava, and other names or marks belong to their respective owners. Informational references do not imply endorsement. Run the Tab should display product artwork only where it is owned, licensed, or otherwise authorized; a generic house image may be used when rights are not established.

YOUR CHOICES

You may decline Health access or sharing, export or delete local app data, disconnect an enabled Strava connection in Settings, stop using the app, and stop testing at any time. Do not use the app to promote unsafe drinking, drinking by minors, impaired driving, or other unlawful or harmful conduct.

NO WARRANTY

Run the Tab is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
